Mystara - ...and the Mystery!
Mystara Academy of Arts & Music

Tara "Mystara" Heft is a graduate of Queen's University's Bachelor of Education  program, as well as the university's Artist in Community Education (ACE) program.  She has been a certified member of the Ontario College of Teachers since 2002, and is a creative arts teacher with the Ottawa Catholic School Board.  Heft also occupies the position of Education Officer at the Osgoode Township Museum.

Prior to teacher's college, Heft completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Bishop's University in Lennoxville, Quebec, where she graduated with a Double Major in Music & Fine Arts.  During this time, she was awarded the Howard Brown Prize in Music Performance, as well as the Friends of Music Award.  She was elected Vice President of the Bishop's University Music Student Society, and she also hosted her own radio show:  The Caffeine Buzz Jazz Show on CJMQ 88.9FM, Bishop's University's campus radio station.

The Mystara Academy of Arts & Music is Heft's private studio, offering a variety of individual and group classes with a focus on music and the creative arts.  She also offers services off-site and can travel to your location to deliver various workshops, lessons, and programming to suit your needs!
